  • ③ Moulds such as injection moulds, rubber moulds, vacuum forming blister moulds, refrigerator foam moulds, pressure casting moulds, precision casting moulds, etc.

  • ④ The spherical surface can be milled with a machining center. Three-axis milling can only be approximated by a ball-end milling cutter with low efficiency. Five-axis milling can be approximated by end-milling cutter as envelope surface. When machining complex surfaces with machining centers, the programming workload is large. Most of them need automatic programming technology.

Special-shaped parts are irregular shape parts. Most need a point, line, surface multi-station mixed processing.

The rigidity of special-shaped parts is generally poor, the clamping deformation is difficult to control, and the machining accuracy is difficult to ensure. Even some machining parts are difficult to complete with ordinary machine tools.

When processing with machining center, reasonable technological measures should be adopted, one or two clampings, using the characteristics of machining center multi-station point, line, surface mixed processing, complete multiple processes or all the process content.

The grinding of small modulus involute bevel gears and various curves and surfaces can be realized by installing a high-speed grinding head on the machining center.
