Aria custom CNC milling parts are performed using multi-axis machine tools managed by state-of-the-art computer software. Our rapid milling process is the method par excellence for producing prismatic forms and complicated geometries.

Our CNC milling process is compatible with a great many raw materials. We use brass, stainless steel, hard plastics, titanium, and aluminum, among others.

With three-axis CNC milling prices starting at $10 per hour and 5-axis CNC milling center tolerances of up to 0.002″, our CNC milling services for prototype machining and production parts are remarkably cost-effective.

CNC Turning Services

CNC Turning Services

We use high-quality, high-speed turning centers equipped with real-time tooling and automated bar feeders. Materials used in the turning process include aluminum, brass, rigid plastics, and mild or stainless steel.

Aria’s CNC turning services are designed to create elaborate external geometries with internal bores that result in exceptionally tight tolerances and radiant surface finishes.

This process is appropriate for rapid prototypes, introducing new products, and low-volume production.

Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM)

Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM)

EDM machining is a process by which electric spark erosion is used as a cutting tool to remove metal under controlled conditions. The spark literally erodes the workpiece. We can then transform the eroded workpiece into the desired size and shape.

This tool can be used to cut holes and pockets into hardened steel. EDM is often used to fashion square pockets. It’s also used to impart a surface texture to the internal cavities of mold tools.

A high-powered electric spark is discharged by a sacrificial electrode residing in an electrolyte bath. The electric spark can erode extremely hard materials that would resist erosion with any other method.

Wire EDM is a variation of EDM. In this case, an electrically charged wire that’s fed continuously between two spools can cut through-hardened tool steel at high speed with impressive accuracy.

Metal Materials of CNC Machining

The selection of the CNC Machining material depends on the specific requirements of the part, including mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, thermal conductivity, and cost considerations.

Aluminum is a silver-white light metal. It is malleable, and products are often made into column, rod, and sheet shapes. It has an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, low cost and recyclability.

Steel grades that are resistant to weak corrosive media such as air, steam, water, or have rust resistance are called stainless steel; it is suitable for making products that need to be exposed to the environment for a long time.

Mild Steel is a carbon steel with a carbon content of less than 0.25%, Because of its low strength and hardness, plasticity, ductility and punch resistance are better.

Tool steel has high wear resistance and appropriate toughness and can maintain high hardness at high temperatures. It is often used to make cutting tools, molds and wear-resistant tools.

Brass is a combination of copper and zinc. It has strong wear resistance and good plasticity. Its excellent cutting performance is suitable for high-precision parts processed by automatic lathes and CNC lathes.

Pure copper is a soft metal with a purple-red luster, with a density of 8.92 g/cm3. Good ductility, high thermal and electrical conductivity, so it is often used to make electronic components.

Titanium is a silver-white transition metal with a density of 4.5g/cm3. The main features are low density, high mechanical strength, easy processing, and good corrosion resistance.

Magnesium is a silver-white metal with a density of 1.74 g/cm3. The density is small and the ductility is good. Mainly used in the manufacture of light metal alloys.

Aria is a professional CNC machining manufacturer in China, The reliability and precision of high-tech tools powered by sophisticated software programs give CNC machining the ability to quickly generate prototypes and complicated end-use parts having exceptionally tight tolerances. with low cnc machining costs from Chinese.

CNC machining is a subtractive manufacturing process. When the material is added instead of removed, it’s called an additive manufacturing process. Examples of subtractive CNC machining include specialized applications such as CNC milling services, turning, surface grinding, and EDM. An example of additive CNC machining is 3D printing.

Computer-aided design (CAD) files are digital records containing 3D designs and information about materials, processes, tolerances, and other variables. A digitally controlled CNC machine must always contain a file of the part design that controls it.

The spinning motion from the CNC machine’s cutter will leave visible tool marks. Although they stand ready for immediate service, they can be further refined with anodizing, painting, polishing, and plating.
