How to Use Aria Manufacturing Limited Instant Quoting Engine?

Are you looking to learn how to get instant pricing, lead times, and DFM feedback for your manufacturing project ideas?

With Aria Manufacturing Limited’s Instant Quoting Engine, you can instantly generate accurate cost estimates for all our custom manufacturing services.

And today, we will walk you through the 10-step instant quote generation process with our newly launched instant quoting engine. So, let’s dive in!

How to get an instant quote on our platform

Step 1: Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Software Design Generation

Login in

The first step to get an instant quote from our platform is to create a new user account if you don’t have one already. So, go to [[app.ariamade.com]], click Sign Up, and submit the required information.

Once you have an account, return to [[app.ariamade.com]] and enter your email and password. Finally, click Login to access your dashboard.

After logging into your account, the engine will load your dashboard with the New Quote page opened by default. From there, proceed to the second step below.

Step 2: Upload your designs on the platform

After logging in to the platform successfully, the next step is to upload your 3D CAD designs to start the quoting process. Before you pick the files for upload, choose the right Manufacturing Technology and Materials from their respective dropdown menus.

Next, drag and drop your 3D models directly into the drop zone or click browse to select the files for upload. You can pick more than one set of 3D Model files of up to 80 MB. The engine supports several 3D file formats, such as .step, .stl, .stp, and more.

While you can’t add more specifications or modify individual preferences for each model at this step, you can do so in the steps that follow. So, click Submit and proceed to step four.

Note: Aria Manufacturing Limited prioritises user privacy and data security: your uploads and data will remain secured and confidential on our system.

Step 3: Fill in your contact information

In this step, provide your current and accurate contact details that we can use for communication during the ordering phase and throughout production to delivery. We will use these details purposely for all communications related to this order.

Step 4: Part page: Edit specifications

Fill in your contact information

The part page provides intuitive features to help you fine-tune, edit, and add more details about your project’s specifications.

Here, you can add, review, or modify the following parameters:

  1. Manufacturing process technology and material
  2. The required tolerances, surface finishes, inserts, threads, and tapped holes
  3. The part’s markings and surface roughness with their locations
  4. Specific machining notes or comments for each part

Note that if you’ve made all the changes to your parts, the part’s price and overall summary will automatically update.

Step 5: Fill in your shipping address

Address

Step six of our instant quote generation process is filling in your shipping address details for where we will ship the completed parts. If you want them delivered to different locations, use the [[Add Address]] button to specify additional addresses.

These shipping details will enable our quote engine to calculate the shipping costs and allow us to provide seamless logistics after production.

Once you provide your shipping information, you can move on to the next step.

Step 6: The Quote page: Check cost estimation and lead times

Based on all the details you’ve provided up to this step, our quoting engine will analyze your models with their specifications, alongside other parameters, to create your quote.

This step should take just a few minutes, if not seconds, depending on the complexity and size of your models. And once the process is complete, the generated quote page will include the following elements:

  1. The overall cost estimates and lead times of the whole process
  2. The details of all models (up to 25), each displayed in individual boxes with their part’s name, costs, quantity, and specifications.
  3. Buttons to add new models, duplicate, modify, or delete the existing parts

Click the pencil icon at the right of each model to change its name. The Edit Specification button allows you to change or update all the parameters of your models.

The Delete button drops the parts you want to remove from the quote page; the Upload Zone at the bottom allows you to add more models to the quote as required.

If you need to order similar parts but with different specifications, use the Duplicate link and edit their specifications accordingly.

Step 7: Quote page: Confirm your order

If you’re satisfied with all the specifics of the parts and the generated quote, click Confirm to confirm your order. Remember, after this step, you cannot modify your orders again. So, ensure that all your parts and their specifications are accurate before proceeding.

If you would prefer to talk to our team of experts before confirming the order, you can contact us at [info@MadeAria.com], and we will help you. Also, note that this quote is only valid for up to 30 days if it remains unconfirmed on our quoting platform.

Step 8: Review your order and proceed to payment

Review your order and proceed to payment

As you approach the final step, our quoting platform will generate a complete overview of your order that is downloadable as a PDF. You can review all your order details once more and then proceed to the payments page.

On the payments page, choose your preferred payment option. We offer several payment methods, including PayPal, bank cards, and more. Once you complete the payment, we will start processing your order.

First, we will do a brief manufacturability audit to ensure we can deliver them according to all your specifications. From there, we will send you a formal order confirmation before beginning production.

Step 9: Follow your order status online

Whenever you sign in to Aria’s instant quotation engine platform, you will see the following four tabs in the dashboard: New Quote, My Quotes, My Orders, and My Profile.

My Orders tab on the instant quote engine will allow you to stay informed about all your orders and projects at all times. Once you place an order with us, we will update their status regularly while we process them.

Additionally, you can download confirmations for your orders and payments. The shipment information will also appear on the orders page after we send the first parcels of your parts.

Use the other tabs on the customer’s area dashboard to do the following:

  • New Quote tab to generate another instant quote
  • My Quotes tab to access all your quotes
  • My Profile tab to tweak your account’s settings
